The “Shark” star and her co-stars, including “Sharks” host Rob Delaney and “Shower with Me” host Melissa McBride, have been vocal in their support for those who suffer from hair loss.
But “Shocked” alum Leah DiPierro, who plays Leah’s friend, said the reality show star and fellow “ShARK” alum were being “inappropriate.”
“They’re just doing it to help themselves, not anyone else,” DiPierso told “CBS This Morning.”
“You know, if you want to help someone else, I think it’s just like any other thing that we all have to deal with in life.”
The show, which premiered this summer, is an attempt to make money and promote hair loss through beauty products.
The show is also the first of its kind for the “Shack,” a chain of beauty stores that launched last year.
The Shacks are owned by DiPieri, who has a relationship with the chain.
“Shocking” is slated to premiere on June 10.
