A 47-year-old woman in Los Angeles is recovering from aphasiac brain disease after being diagnosed with postpartum depression.
Averil J. Aveda, a registered nurse from California, is a registered dietitian who lives in the Los Angeles area.
She is on medication to help her cope with her condition.
Her daughter, who has a young son, said she has struggled with postnatal depression and anxiety.
She said that after her husband, who suffers from depression, died, she was in and out of therapy for about a year.
She said she had difficulty getting a job and struggled with anxiety.
After a doctor recommended a treatment called anorexia, Avedas mother, Avera J.
Aveda said she was relieved and decided to go ahead with it.
Her symptoms include fatigue, depression and difficulty concentrating, the Los Angels Daily News reported.
She also has trouble sleeping.
Her family said she suffered from a lack of sleep.
Her condition has not improved.
Avea has a history of aphasias.
Her mother, who is a licensed dietitist, said her daughter has suffered from mental health issues since she was a young girl.
